although I haven't played Demon's Souls in like 10 years so I may have forgotten how tough it was

Souls are the easiest

Armored Core For Answer is the hardest because of 1v5 hard mode nonsense

Dark Souls 2 had the most difficult mobs, for me, but the easiest bosses.

Tenchu series is easier than the others because you don't really have to fight anything other than bosses and those are fairly simple usually.

Of the ones I've played

DS3
DS1
DS2
Sekiro

Never really hit a road block in 3. Abyss Watchers and Nameless King gave me some trouble but not to the extent O&S, Smelter Demon, and some of the Sekiro bosses did. Though that also could have been due to me being more experienced with the series than I was with 1 or 2.

Sekiro sounds incredibly intimidating to me. I have friends that have beaten all DS games and Bloodborne several times but couldn't even make it halfway through Sekiro

I'd say the big thing with Sekiro is it very much demands you play by it's rules. You git gud at Sekiro as opposed to just gittin gud if that makes sense. I didn't like Sekiro because as much as some people find Souls and BB hard, it does allow some creativity from the players to play your own way. I didn't find that with Sekiro.

Those sacrifices lead to a much tighter game that's combat not only feels amazing, but looks it. If you put a video of the melee combat side by side with the rest of the games, it's no contest.

Sekiro's gameplay looks phenomenal, there's no denying it. I love watching videos of really good players tearing shit up
