Personally, I cannot stand using desktops, so always buy laptops. I paid 500 for my laptop last summer I dont think it was overpriced. I got an i7, 8gb of ram, 1tb hd, 256 gb ssd, and a gtx 1050ti. If I wanted to go play in someone else's dorm room, apartment, or house it was easy. If I wanted to play in the living room or my bedroom or wherever, I easily had that option.
