Granted it's not perfect, but damn if they didn't nail the aesthetics and world building

despite what faults the game might have, its art direction and soundtrack were on point

Yeah I honestly never understood why it got shit on so much. It had a lot going for it, and I loved the environment.

Eh, it touches on a lot of things in the world building but never really explores them in any significant way.

Like there's a scene very early on where you make a choice to throw something or not. The way it's setup is like the issue might be explored more but it's just not addressed again. It's weird and it's not the only aspect of the setting that's like that.

The pseudo-religious edginess is a bit much for my tastes, but I can deal with it

If only they actually finished the world building. The setting and scenery are the best parts of Infinite though.

I know a lot of the criticism I had with it was that the game I played wasn't what I thought it would be based off of everything I saw prior. Not a bad game in my opinion, but it failed to meet my expectations and that was on them.

This Infinite is a solid 8/10 but it's highly overrated for a game that's easily the worst of its trilogy

Beautiful aesthetic, major flaws, would never play through it again, but enjoyed my single playthrough

It really sets the game apart. I thought the game was on its way to being one of the best games ever, but didn't like the multi-universe stuff very much.

It removed a lot of stuff from early teasers & trailers. Enough that I consider it a bait & switch.

All BioShock games have breathtaking atmosphere. I didn't follow the hate that Infinite got around its release and I played it a couple of years after release. I absolutely loved that game as well as it's predecessors.

I remember loving Bioshock Infinite when I played it back in 2013, but I've been replaying it too the last couple weeks and I'm seeing a lot more of its flaws
