I'm just giving the "reasoning" If you look into police hiring procedures across the country, apparently you'll find, at least for beat/patrol cops, that they're looking for low IQ, low emotional intelligence individuals that obey orders. Every branch of the military has higher standards this has been proven false so many times Jesus Christ. That study was one for one department like 20 years ago. second, as someone that was in the military that is also a lie. The military literally has no requirements but being an abled bodied person. Which is why high schoolers are sought after. It took 6 months of testing for me to get a conditional offer. My friends department requires the same amount of a testing with a bachelors degree.
