making it a national holiday wouldn't even fix the issue, seeing that lots of jobs dont give holidays off. better to stretch it over a couple days, or just expand mail in voting so everyone can make use of it.

If Covid is still a major concern in November don't be surprised if they not only limit the number of people allowed to congregate in line, but also watch for red districts closing down polling stations and only allowing a few to remain open. Its why Republicans are fighting hard against mail in ballots.
