No, nothing to do with you failing or anything, which I don't believe you've done. If anything I think you give too much time of day to troll-tier users. I understand you want everyone to be happy, but with a place like CE that's crowded with people who just love to grump or try to interject not because they "care" but because of shits and giggles, that's never going to happen.

Anyway, nothing to do with that, either lol. I'm just not on CE like I used to be these days and I question how effective I'd be for someone on the Panel. It feels like a lot of times I'll forget it's going on and then feel annoyed with myself for committing to something that will last as long as these do. I do apologize for not thinking things through before I accepted.

Well that says some interesting things right there. The pussy-footing "I'm going to have to ask..." spineless approach to it as well... quite laughable actually.

What's also interesting is that in spite of being the first and only one of two people to say anything publicly about me, Brutai is actually more in the right than anyone else, in that he was very vocal and even almost neurotic about making sure this was as fair as possible, most specifically in his emphasis on IP resitricted voting. Potential shenanigans really should be as much of a concern overall as they are from Brutai's point of view. I'm just not one of the people to look at when it comes to potential shenanigan-causing, and I never have been.

What "bias" could I possibly have beyond disliking the people I dislike and how am I different from literally everyone else who has people they dislike, so literally everyone else?

Is the implication that I would try to influence voting results or something? Clearly there is a concern about legitimacy of results if there are calls for IP restrictions, but where were those concerns last year when such restrictions were not in place? The answer to that question is that those concerns were expressed often but the matches continued to be IP unrestricted. Again, what are people claiming I could or would do that no one else would be able or willing to do? What are actual tangible differences between using block/ignore and not doing so, as relates to a contest like this and how it operates? Put yourself in the mindset of the people who have been privately "expressing concerns" about me, and really sell it, really justify the logic behind it.

Thank you buddy but the thing is that the host made up his mind. He didn't talk to me. He listened to certain people and made his call.

At this point, I'm a distraction and that's an annoyance that no one should have to deal with (I wouldn't want to personally so I get it >_>). It's like when you're on the way home after ten weeks and you're like 'fuck me I want to get home' and you stop for groceries and the store is recovering from a fucking power outage yesterday and they have people in masks dragging product everwhere and you're like whiat the everliving fuck seriously like well sorry I had to also deal with that on my way home today but it's all good now lol

I don't know, maybe I did act too rash. Maybe I shouldn't be the one selecting panel members since that goes against the whole point of having a check on me in the first place.

We have a week, though, I decided to do this earlier than I normally would.

I'm fine with whatever you decide Pi, this requires an insane amount of work and organization on your end so I trust whatever you decide to do. I'm in, regardless of who else is on the panel. As I stated with Machete, the only thing that needs to be in place is panel members shouldn't have other panel members on ignore, which is counterproductive. I don't care if he's on board, it should be people who are on CE a lot. It just needs to stay focused on the competition and put our other feelings aside, if we can do that, it's gonna be a fun competition I think.

At this point, the panel as it was is fine. If Machete wants to go back on it, he's more than welcome to, if he would rather not after this ordeal, I understand.

Next year, I will try to find a more professional way of selecting members.

I'm moving on from this now, I gotta get tournament stuff started. We still have panel spots open, so if there are suggestions, let me hear it.

If @JimCarrysToe doesn't mind, I'd like the board to be invite only and private for the panel members, we can meet there.

I don't feel like dealing with that and i don't need disruption to occur just due to my presence alone. Just do one thing for me though and keep a close fucking eye on each and every one of those people...

I'm sorry, I was overcompensating for not acting early enough in last year's tournament by acting too quickly in this one. I'll do my best to make sure this tournament doesn't get destroyed by any group.

Alright, so I have sent questions to all of the contestants in the first 8 matchups except @Paper_Okami as his inbox is full. If you would like to receive the questions, feel free to let me know, and I will send them to you later.

I didn't realize BlazinBlue88 was already in here, I thought he was left out, so it's just me and SailorGoon. I don't mind allowing others to have a spot in here before me, so as of now, I have replaced Aeriis with SailorGoon. So far, the bracket looks ready. Our first official race will be between the two candidates, @Zodd3224 vs @Vyrulisse as they fight to be the Man Fan representative of Royal Sworry city.

I am the very definition of unbiased and I would make the effort to make sure our nominee showcases the best CE has to offer, and considering most of the time what CE has to offer can be questionable, I believe I can help separate the wheat from the chaff.
