Protests won't end.

I hate to say this, but I honestly think the wheels are turning to get them acquitted.

The initial autopsy showed the cause of death was due to a substance. The family hired an independent examiner to perform an additional autopsy, and the independent examiner found the cause of death to be asphyxiation. But I heard there were organs missing from the body at that point (don't have source for that), leaving the independent autopsy potentially inaccurate.

Combine this with the fact that the Minneapolis Police Dept. trains its officers to restrain suspects by the neck (same PD killed another man about a year ago the same exact way and the officers were never charged).

They also upgraded the charge on one cop from third degree, to second degree. This will probably be harder to prove as second degree usually deals with murderers committed out of rage due to the frailty of human character.

I'm not saying I agree with any of this because I think the cop clearly aided in his death, but may not be too challenging for a good defense team to convince a jury to acquitted them based on all of this.

No, it didnt

It didn't? That's what I read initially. I'll go look that up, could have sworn initial autopsy and the family's independent autopsy were in direct contradiction of one another.

The following findings on elapsed time are based on cases with complete disposition information. Because small differences
exist between cases with complete information and cases with incomplete information, these statistics may differ from other elapsed-time statistics derived from the survey:

* Mean elapsed time from date of arrest to date of felony conviction was about 6 months. Jury cases took the longest time (about 9 months). Guilty plea cases took just under 6
months and bench trials took about 6 months. The longest average time was for murder or nonnegligent manslaughter, just over 11 months, and the shortest, just over 5a months for larceny (table 4.9).

In this case, no way they can focus on Autopsy or if he had drugs or whatever

the focus has to be KNEE TO NECK. Also those officers assisting, and asian cop doing Nothing.

I am assuming in the current times we are in, this can't take more than 3 Months
these convictions have to be delivered in Historic speeds.

no way we entering 2021 and these convictions are not delivered in historic speeds.

It'll take them at least three months just to pick a jury given how high-profile this cases. And they have to be extremely careful, because it would be possible for the defense to argue for a hung trial if the jury is found to be too biased.
