Racists by definition harm society both by promoting racism to people like themselves as well as by discriminating against people different than them. It's not a matter of having difference of opinion or freedom of speech, racists are objectively wrong and cause material harm. So, after education and therapy fails, what should be done with them?

Note: prison is specifically solitary confinement to prevent the race-based gangs we see in prison

Ethical? Why not physically removing the genitals since you're kind of just making up your own laws here anyway. Seems like that would be more effective than the complete lack of culpability we have now.

People are quick to use the aggressive approach, but that has never worked.

I don't know where you are getting that criminal minds just need a little talk, but that sounds awfully naive.

It has worked, people need to realize that punching their face really doesn't change anything.

All that does is reinforce their beliefs.

The only dangerous racists are the one that actively try to kill or have a position of power; those cases have to be legally dealt with in court.

It's worked in rare cases. Repeat offenders don't respond to this tact and I'm sure those in positions of power are repeat offenders.

I just don't want to see a endless cycle of violence; sometimes there is roads that are less taken that tend to give a different result.

Think some people give up too easily on that.

This isn't the problem with how criminals are prosecuted in America though. The problem is mostly that thinks like rape, murder, grand theft auto, etc aren't federal crimes and aren't even necessarily crimes in every area, whereas harmless stuff such as drug possession is.

People can't change. That's a fact of being human. You can present the person with all known options to change and they may find one that works for them, but that's all said and done after Sentencing so I'm not really sure what the point is here.

Strip away their rights until they've shown they can cooperate in our society. Hell, put in a Racism Tax, I don't even care.

Talking one on one like it's gonna be some enlightening therapy session is naive at best. Only way is to expose them to those they hate, but if they stand a threat to the lives of those they hate, then you gotta "neuter" them, so to speak

Seeing as you kan be racist without actually doing anything, incarceration/death is pretty radical. Even radical punishments should fit the krime. Death for a murderer. Kastration for a rapist.

Yeah, but was was the krime they're not repentant of? Hate speech? Slurs n harassment? Vandalism? Assault? Murder? I'm not gonna give the same answer for each of these.
