So I only realized today that I never took back the days I requested off work to go to E3 this week. I always schedule them at the beginning of the year, and I forgot to undo it after it was cancelled.

Demons Souls remaster by Bluepoint is the main rumour, and also the only reliable rumour I know of. Apparently this might close the event which is odd.

I wouldnt expect Elden Ring, though it could happen. Microsoft seem to have the main deal there.

Oh interesting, I had heard the RE8 rumours but not that it was supposed to be here. I suppose it could also turn up elsewhere this month as well.

Two others:

-Bloodborne PC/PS5 port by QLOC (Dark Souls Remastered) and Bluepoint. Seems very believable, has been reported by multiple sources now.

-The big one, the return of Silent Hill. This is much dodgier. It also doesn't help that there were numerous rumours that were outright ridiculous like the Kojima ones or the "Sony is buying Silent Hill" ones, which have now been debunked. What is possible is the rumour that there will be a SIlent Hill game put out by Konami but with support from Sony. However, take this one with a massive grain of salt.

We're getting both eventually but RE8 is getting revealed first.

And yeah, heavy rumors floating around for both Bloodborne remaster and Silent Hill. Bloodborne is looking much more likely based on how much backing its received but I still don't feel confident. (Mostly just protecting myself because I've been burned multiple times on these Bloodborne PC rumors D:)

Silent Hill has had a constantly buzzing rumor mill for the entire year, it feels like. At this point I'm very willing to believe something is happening but I don't know if it's going to be here, especially with RE8 all but guaranteed. That would be a lot of horror for a show like this!

The Bloodborne PC rumors are stronger than ever, the PS5 version rumors I think are more assumed as a result. On the other hand, Demons Souls PS5 rumors have been going strong for a while.

My stance is that I don't see both being true in a vaccum. I think if both of them pan out the opposite will be true as well (DS PC, BB PS5).

...Although does Bluepoint put out stuff on PC?

I certainly hope Demons Souls comes to PC/PS4 as boy does that game need a remaster, but I definitely dont want to get a new console for it.

Sony put out 2 warnings ahead of time

1st that the stream will be in 1080P and 30 FPS due to covid so you won't be able to get a 4K stream anywhere

2nd they recommend watching it with headphones on because they claim the show has some cool audio work that would be harder to appreciate through a speaker

Demons Souls is also being called a remake. Something like the 2018 Shadow of the Colossus. Bloodborne is just the game at 60fps with ultra widescreen support and minor QoL improvements.
