I'd understand the protests if it was some repeat offender that kept getting away with it but how was the Minneapolis PD supposed to know.

Yes. He worked security at some club and the owner of the club often had words with him after she noticed how he was always way more violent and aggressive to black and Hispanic customers than white ones

Yes. He had 11 prior complaints about misconduct or excessive force before killing Floyd. Not a single one of them resulted in even as much as an admonishment.
