Do you think bringing guns to a protest sends the wrong message?

Video surfaced showing the panthers dressed in all black, marching arm inarmas they formed a line to protect Black Lives Matter protesters during a march as what appears to be tactical style vests with assault rifles slung across their chests Earlierin the week, many of the same people were spotted carrying guns. The organization, founded in 1989 and distinct from the original black panthers, has engaged in armed protests againt alleged police brutality but it's Atlanta chapter did not have a hand in organization this particular grassroots protest Decaturish reported that protesters at the march expressed concern of their presence as the Southern Poverty Law Centre and Anti-Defamation League have both categorized the new panthers as a hate group as they said they are "virtulently racist and anti-semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, jewish and law enforcement officers" But the New Black Pantehrs membeers who appeared in the protest were peaceful and talked about love and respect according to Anti-Racist Coaliation for Decatur activist, Clare Schexnyder She said the group was "interracial" and there was "one white guy" and had a female member as they were demonstrating their first amendment rights and second amendment rights. She said "It's hypocrisy for white people to call it out when white people with guns have been storming capitols and hanging govenors in effigy" as Clare is white herself Another local activist said the new panthers were peaceful and haven't caused problems. Civil Rights Attorney, Mawuli Davis said "white people are concerned about the new black panthers. We're concerned about the things that have already been said to citizens in Decatur" In many demonstrations for social justice protests, rarely people are seen with guns which is in stark contrast from conservative protests where several protesters are seen holding heavy arsenal. I wonder when Disney will sue them for using their copyright. If so, they would have done so a looooonnnnggggg time ago...like back in the 60s/70s As long as they don't use any Marvel BP logos, I think they will be fine. It's kinda like Marvel trying to sue people from using the name 'Thor' (Mythological) or 'Avengers', since that term (like Black Panther) is kinda common use. But back on topic, there always been other Races in the BBP, even in the 60s/70s...go read up on it. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Disney didn't own Marvel until like 10 years ago my dude. Disney is way more lawsuit-happy than Marvel ever was. --- It's okay, I have no idea who I am either. https://imgur.com/WOo6wcq ... Copied to Clipboard!

Why do the anti-blm get to carry freaking semi-automatics all threatening in the streets and blm doesn't? Just drop the anti-gun hippie shit for a moment and show that it's not just Conservatives with the right to bear arms. It's sends the point home that they're not the top dogs, and protesters are also responsible grown ass gun owners. It's like they think they're special because they're the adults who are allowed to have big toys. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Disney didn't own Marvel until like 10 years ago my dude. Disney is way more lawsuit-happy than Marvel ever was. Again, I highly doubt that Disney will sue a politically High-profile group (moreso in the past) over a Name/title whose debate is still up in the air somewhat (it's implied that the Marvel Comic started it first) and nowadays it's pretty much a group based on nostalgia (I think the Old BPPs don't endorse the new BPPs) and only get news coverage due to events like this. And if they was gonna sue, it would've came before the release of the BP MCU film...if they didn't do it then, highly unlikely they will do it now, considering all the $$$ the film made and it didn't hurt the IP by sharing the name with the BPP. ...
