Search use to be right on top of the email lists(on top of where it says Focused and Other). The Search bar is now moved to the top ribbon LMAO. Users are screaming for my team to fix this.

Change for the sake of change. Outlook was fine as is, but developers always gotta search for pointless shit to move around to justify still being employed

when we updated our web app for our customers they freaked the fuck out; even though the layout was simpler, easier to read, and just better.

I think the best thing about being it at a school is the "blame the company that made it" works so well because the constant changes of fucking around with education from the government means the teachers are used to everything being trash

If you think that's bad try using the Microsoft 365 admin site. It is constantly churning and they move some important function at least once a week. It's impossible to learn.

Hasn't happened to me yet but I'm already mad about it.

Its because people are busy with their own thing. They knew how to use the old system, they need something from it now, and its frustrating that they cant get that.

I dont know about your specific app, but a lot of times the changes are either pointless or actually make things worse.

Modern UI designers love their big textless icons, tabs and ribbons. Not to mention popup context menus. Software companies are often more concerned with pushing their crappy cloud solution than making a good product.
