What if he did truly give "notes" or "outlines" or whatever to D&D about how the series is supposed to end

And so D&D executed according to GRRM's notes

What if he saw the backlash from the show and realized, oh shit, I can't possibly end the last books like this, and is rethinking the entire ending?

No. D&D didn't even follow books 4 and 5 which were complete books; why would we assume they would follow notes or outlines for later parts of the series?

He's a Jets fan, so I think he writes every time they win and don't make him depressed. At this rate he'll only have to live until he's 140 or so until he finishes the next book.

Yeah except if they would consistently win he'd probably be too busy jerking off and writing shitty blog posts about how good they are to write an actual book

I remember hearing that the ending we got for Season 8 was the ending GRRM was actually planning. Which would have been fine if it wasn't done so poorly.

GRRM also has said before that he hates seeing how people respond to what he writes, since it makes him want to change something for what the crowd wants, and with how popular Game of Thrones got with the TV show, he probably can't actually pick something.

He's definitely not working on it lol.

Jons parents might be the only major plot point from GRRMs outline. Maybe the Mad Queen and Bran on the throne at the end, but everything else seems a lot different from the books we got so far.

And the Mad Queen would have been fine if the execution wasnt so terrible in the show, it made 0 sense

If you've read the books up to A Dance with Dragons, you know for a 100% fact that he didn't give D&D notes or an outline. There are far too many changes to make since to how that is where people will end up.

Even something as simple as Fake Arya being made to marry Ramsay and not Sansa, so Sansa can't do any of that Northern plot stuff that rolls into a huge clusterfuck

I wouldn't say 0 sense, at least IMO it was more "OK I can kinda see where they were going, but this probably should've had like, 1-3 more seasons of development before it happened"

It's over for me. I couldn't stop cackling hysterically during the final episode, it was all so ridiculous it felt like a big budget SNL parody of the episode we might have gotten if we weren't on the bad end rn. It actually kinda put into context for me that the lore is amazing and the characters are so delightful and full of personality, but the actual books themselves are pretty hot garbage and just literally not any fun to read either.

Honestly, I'd rather read the fuckin wiki then another page of this asshole's writing.
