yes. I got online around 95 I think. Most people online were still kids or grown up nerds. sometimes I wish I could have seen the internet in the SUPER early days like the stone age of the internet. when it was just text message boards where communities of nerds gathered. one time on a Cracked article I saw an archived message board link from a discussion where people were talking about Return of the Jedi, when it had just come out like a week earlier. it was very interesting to see contemporary thoughts on the movie.

No. I got it full time in 97. That's when the dot.com around the time dot.com bubble took off and everybody and their brother started getting online.

We had AOL online briefly in the early 90s, but it was too expensive. Paid by minute, long distance style.

Yeah. The wild west days of the internet was perhaps the best of it. Before so much was centralized on a couple massive platforms. When everyone was mostly anonymous.

it was also kinda fucked up though. I am fairly certain in those days I stumbled on what was almost surely CP. though at the time I was still young myself and didn't realize the significance

Internet is mainstream now. Which is great because you get to see collective human intelligence on full display.

and its utter garbage like most here suspected.

Yes, as I've said before, the internet was better when it was the home for Nerds and Pervs.
