While I haven't like all of the story elements, the improvements to game play and the seasonal events have definitely solidified it as a strong entry into the Borderlands universe.

Good. I've had a bunch of fun with it

Obviously the story or villains aren't as good as 2, but it's still a fun game

I have flak, moze, and almost zane maxed level. I don't think I'm interested in Amara at all

It's great, unfortunately the story makes me want gouge my eyes and ears out, but atleast it's not a non-stop memefest either.

The gameplay Is easily the best in the series.

Pretty much parroting the posts above, I didn't care for the story and villains but the gameplay is a lot of fun

Pretty much running perpendicular to the posts above, the story and characters are terrible and I dislike the concept of seasonal events, so I'm incapable of giving a fuck about the gameplay.

I've basically gone from being hugely up on the franchise because of Borderlands 2/the Pre-Sequel/Tales from the Borderlands, to being almost completely apathetic about it now.

Agree with this completely. I'll still go back and have fun with 2 and PS, but 3 bored me to the point of not finishing it. At least I felt compelled to beat the first one
