What do I drink? What I'm given.

What do I prefer? Something really hops-y like Sublimely Self Righteous. I like feeling like I'm almost eating my beer.

For harder stuff I prefer apple brandy or apple whiskey, or peppermint anything. Or something cheap and nasty sometimes, ngl.

I don't drink a lot anymore though tbh.

Don't drink beer.

I mainly stick to bourbon. Usually mixed with coke, but if I've got a good sipping vintage I'll drink it straight. For casual consumption I generally stick to lower-tier stuff like Old Grand Dad, Wild Turkey, Old Crow, Ezra Brooks, etc.

I don't drink all that often, though. Almost never alone or at home, usually only at parties or social occasions with lots of people, and then generally no more than maybe a half-dozen times a year or so, give or take.

I used to drink more when I was younger, but the older I get the less willing I am to get full-on buzzed or sloppy drunk, and I've never really seen much of a point TO drinking unless you're drinking to get at least somewhat drunk. I don't really drink alcohol for the taste (mainly because I'm a supertaster, so most alcohol kind of tastes kind of terrible to me anyway).

I like a lot of different kinds of beer. Some of my favourite brands are Guinness, Yukon Gold, Baltika 7, Innis & Gunn, and Blanche de Chambly. For cheap piss beer, I'll tolerate Coors Banquet, Molson Canadian, and Old Style Pilsner.

My go to whisky is Alberta Premium (cheap as hell but decent), and my go to rums are Sailor Jerry and Havana Club 7 Year.

So I figured I'd check your profile, at which point I noticed you have 18 AMP (3 of which pertains to this topic). So if you are an alt, I'm not sure whose alt you are, but now I'm a little curious. If you're not an alt, then you lurk and you can hardly expect people to know you. Second, you accuse me of trying to troll you (and hard, no less!) because you disagree with my alcohol preferences (ie, none) which somehow incensed you (Why? It's no less legitimate an answer than anybody else's) and then you got irate when I responded to your facetious "thank you" with a sarcastic "you're welcome." You may be getting angry, but I'm not trying to troll you. I am wall o' texting you, though.

Ok, first I don't claim to be important and on a board like this I don't want to be. 2nd, I'm not somebody's alt and 3rd, yes I do lurk because I used to post here a long time ago and 4th you never posted anything about your alcohol preferences which is why I assumed you were trolling and 5th, I never got irate like the way you're claiming. Again, I just made a topic wanting to know others alcohol preferences and be social. I'm not looking to be special in a place like this.

I enjoy Dale's pale ale, though I'm trying to lose weight so recently if I'm having a beer, I go for a truly instead.

Liquor, I enjoy whiskey. Makers mark usually.

I like to try just about everything at least once, but if I have a "go to" it is a local brand called Rohrbach, specifically their Scotch Ale.

Craft beer mostly, usually Boulevard or Leinenkugel. Sometimes Guinness, Corona, Modelo. Rarely Kirin Ichiban, Sapporo, Singha, Tsing Tao. Lately with 90F weather and working outdoors, cheap ice cold Bud Light. I think the best beer I've had is Tartan Scotch Ale.

For beer it's typically dark beer. Stout or something.

For hard alcohol it's typically whiskey, particularly Irish or Bourbon
