...For this one, I'm sorry, fellas. I'm breaking my facade of neutrality to denounce this round. I'd already committed to including people's submissions with no quality control before this one was suggested. If this thread is the most lukewarm thread yet, it deserves it tbh.

So many of these topics are just dumb. I get no quality control, its more the blind hate accompanied with the sequels for a lot of these topics.

Tbf I haven't actually seen any of the sequels past TFA but I find it incredibly hard to believe that any scenes could so completely lack any positive aspects in them the way 'angel' and 'sand' do.

It's a really awkward scene that's just devoid of content, contextually in the movie it makes no sense whatsoever

(IMO Rey appeared to have a much more significant relationship with both Han and Leia, so both Rey Solo and Rey Organa would contextually make more sense)

and out-of-context, it just reeks of awkward attempts at fanservice in a movie that was so hamfisted with its attempts at fan service. not to mention the overwhelming disappointment of being the very ending to the entire saga.

It definitely belongs with "angel" and "sand"

A lot of the hate for the sequels are definitely not warranted IMO (hell, some of the best scenes have overwhelmingly won the "worst scene" before)

I'm honestly surprised by how well prequel moments tend to do against the sequels. Maybe it's recency bias, maybe it's r/prequelmemes, but it's swinging a lot of matchups.

That said, there are a bunch of bad scenes from the sequels. This isn't one of them.
