Well Sega and Atlus have a slot in an hours time and they only showed off Catherine from what i remember so there's no way they're just talking about Catherine for half hour.

It's probably going to be half Catherine and half 13 sentinels.

Not sure about Ys IX to be honest. I just finished VIII and liked it a lot but that was a Vita game to start out with - for a game that started on the PS4 IX looks sloppy

who predicted the Sega/Atlus stream would be Catherine Fullbody gameplay

It sucks to see how much Atlus' non-Persona teams are struggling to move on from the 3DS. Hopefully they'll at least be good again on the Switch 2. =/

I've been saying this forever but I don't get why anybody expects anything from Atlus anymore.

No doubt internally they feel like P4G on PC means they gotta wait another year for a Scramble localization to give it a buffer.

I wouldn't put it past Sega/Atlus pulling this.

At the same time it seems like...they were supposed to do something else, it wasn't ready and said well fuck it, just put some Catherine gameplay in there.

Atlus makes no sense at all. They shadow drop P4G for PC with virtually no promotion, but then pull this s*** with Catherine.

And with P5 being by far their most popular game ever, of course we get nothing on Scramble.

They seem like they flat out don't want to localize Scramble for some reason

It went from basically "Oh yeah this will be localized" to them doing polls that are like "Do you want this game localized" and "Do you really want this game localized?"

part of me wants to give them a covid-19 pass on this...

but then I think that NIS got its **** together for TOCSIV and YS IX of all things.

even if covid messed up their plans they probably would have been better off not showing anything at all than what was literally the most boring stream of all time (I like Catherine, but unless you're playing competitive Babel or something I don't want to watch it)

Well so far from this post-game stuff the only thing I'm suddenly interested in is Alchemic Cutie which is Stardew Valley x Slime Rancher.

Besides that, the gameshow Ministry thing looked cool too.

The point is the Trials games have a lot of text and voice overs to do and still getting all that done with the lockdown is impressive.

yeah, even if the localization team had been working on CS4 nonstop since the release of CS3, it's still super impressive.

now the localization might end up being really bad, in which case we can lob insults then. but in the meantime I'll hope for a product roughly the same quality as CS3

Nothing can be as bad as that rough Zero translation we had to use before the current one came out.
