I like the art style, looks a lot nicer and less cheap than the first one. Gameplay looks to be pretty much the same with some new stuff thrown in which is fine by me.

There's not really random items/buffs compared to stuff like Binding of Isaac, but it's more about getting enough money each time to buy permanent upgrades for your future characters. --- ...I think I'm done here... ... Maybe I'll look into getting it on the Switch the next time it goes on sale then. I generally prefer systems like that rather than completely random every time. I'm a big fan of Crypt of the Necrodancer and Wizard of Legend.

Looks great, and the devs were in a reddit thread saying they're adding in-run relics that will change runs more dynamically throughout the run and they're adding more biomes.
