Like I'd love to be a vegan because I feel bad for killing animals but how can I be expected to be one when bacon tastes so much better than tofu?

You ever notice how tasty things are harder to catch? Animals--delicious; Vegetables--meh.

Probably our ancestors' bodies trying to get us to stop being lazy and go hunt something so they could have a balanced diet.

Naturally, Cheetahs must be delicious af.

Fruit is a different story. It's not that it's hard to catch but when you bite into it you get your hands all sticky and our cleanly ancestors didn't want to deal with it so that ended up becoming tasty too.

Same. My sister in law is a vegan and used to live with us. Every time she cooked her meals it always smelled so awful. And even the stuff that looked decent tasted gross, like the brownies for example. Thankfully when she made dinner she would make us regular meals and she was a damn good cook. Best country fried steak I ever had.

Oh, you're against breeding countless animals just to slaughter them? Well, if we stop eating them the ones already living will be slaughtered cause there's nothing to be done with them, ha!

I mean even if the ultimate answer was to immediately cull all of the no longer necessary food animals, that is still a better solution than continuing to breed and kill them until we come up with a better solution. And that is the most extreme example.

It seems weird to me that they still want to eat "meat" without actually eating meat. Why fake it. What do you need a fake meatball or a fake burger, or Hotdog. I'm a meat eater, but those new meatless burgers aren't too bad. They're actually pretty passable as real beef - at least the ones I've had.
