Like yeah, I would watch for a minute or 2 but then i would go back to the proper person i wanted to watch, and even then i only watch for like 10-20 minutes.

but some dudes, ill watch the stream of some cute twitch girl (average maybe 20 viewers) for a few minutes, notice one guy in the chat. go back to watch some fat guy or black guy play street fighter or go about my day. check in again 4 or 5 hours later. dude is still there in the chat. Everytime i check in, and I only do so every few days and for only a few minutes and the same guy is always there which must mean he must watch all her streams in it entirety.

How do ppl do that and have that sort of dedication/ I cant even watch the main ppl i follow for more than 30 mins at a time lol

I dont know man. They have shit personalities and their assets aren't enough for me to stick around for long. There are better payoffs elsewhere. It makes no sense!

Why do you say that?

They are lonely and need someone to talk to, and chatting with a Twitch girl is better than no one. Some can be delusional though, and think they'll be able to fuck if they become her mod or something.

I just wanted a more in depth answer because I thought it was interesting to think about. Its true that its not healthy, but is it healthier than the alternative of having no one?

Maybe he genuinely likes her content.

Says more about you that you think the only possibility is hes a simp.

It's a combination of loneliness, thirst, control and a false sense of companionship. Where they believe or at least want to that their associates with this person in some real capacity.

The latter of the two you cant really get with porn. Hench why they simply dont watch it instead.

This of course makes them easily exploited and manipulated but no one cares.

I could see an argument being made that such behavior helps to normalize talking to women, and they may gain more confidence and an understanding of how to do it in general.

The obvious downside is that this discussion is primarily about a certain type of female twitch host, so expectations going forward might be fucked up when the girl they try to pursue isnt consistently dolled up with a bubbly personality.

But definitely dont lump all female streamers together. Theyll all get these... simps, as you call them, but some do not actively set out to do so.

intimacy idols tbh. imagine sleeping, dancing, playing "just chatting", irl, cooking, working out, or drinking all on favorite twitch streams.

shared interest builds common ground to form relationships. relationships form support.
