Probably 2016 when my last marriage was falling apart whilst I was getting fucked over by work and also had to deal with a family death and wasn't able to go home for the funeral. The first 6 months of 2016 were horrendous for me.

2016 and 2017 have so far been the worst years for me personally (although 2014 was also pretty bad)
2020 was looking bright in the beginning, but it's sucked since this pandemic locked down the entire world. i'm still in a much better place personally, which in the grand scheme of things is something i'm grateful for, because i don't know how i would be today dealing with everything else going on in the world if i had been in a worse situation. --- all you need ... Individually, no. I've had worse years in middle school when I was bullied, neglected, and suicidal (thoughts only, no attempts). To humanity as a whole yes. I've been furloughed for three and a half months now and my sanity was hanging on by a thread. Thankfully I held it together and now I have a husband, a few pets, literature, video games, and lingual pursuits to occupy my time and my mind or 2020 could make a good case.
