Is it strange I don't like this? I just feel like its strange when men i don't know act like they're my boyfriend through affectionate/sexual terms

I said "not your babe" to some random guy who messaged me "hey babe" and he went off on me.

If you dont like it, thats Ok. Its good that youre telling people right away.

I think most women, who dont like it, probably dont speak up because theyre afraid of the guys reaction or they just arent bothered enough. Maybe its different for us guys. Some women act too familiar with me, but I view it as harmless.

I hear people with southern roots do this a lot. Men and and women both will use overly familiar pet names with strangers. Personally, I dislike it because I'm not a fan of southern culture. If some strange woman calls me "hon" I'm getting the fuck away from her unless they're grandma age.

it's so weird that people here refer to women as "females", even in the same sentence that they refer to men as "men"
it has such a weird, distant, clinical connotation to it

People who use female (Ive found) tend to be military

i always use lady and always get good responses

but im good looking and in shape so it makes a difference
