Make enough to get leftovers. Use the leftovers to make new meals.

I.e.

Make grilled chicken one night.

Use that to make a sandwich for lunch the next day.
Make stir fry for dinner, with rice, that night.

The next day, use grilled chicken + leftover rice to make fried rice for lunch. Make chilli or something for dinner.

Next day, use the rice and chicken to make a burrito. Go out to eat. Take leftovers home.

Next day, eat leftover stir fry. Make chicken cutlets it something for dinner.

Next day eat restaurant leftovers... Etc etc etc..

Theres nothing on this planet that is being sold in such a way that it will go to waste if you dont use it all in a single recipie.

Youre either buying too much or the concept of storing and/or freezing ingredients is beyond you.

Or you just dont cook enough in which case that situation is easily remedied by actually cooking and not wasting time and money buying ingredients just to cook once.

Those are fine. But I tend to cook a lot of rice and pasta, which is annoying to reheat

Oh come on TC you have so many options.

1. Eat it all in one sitting and become obese.
2. Throw the leftovers in the freezer and eat it later when it's freezerburned, or more likely throw it away.
3. Throw the leftovers in the fridge and eat the same thing every meal for the next couple of days, or more likely have it spoil and throw it away.

JEEZ.

I mean, if you eat eight burgers in the week it takes buns to expire, more power to you.

Alternatively, if you're ok with freezerburned bread, also more power to you.

You can make grilled cheeses and other sandwiches out of those buns.

And when they go stale you can make generally shelf stable breadcrumbs or even croutons. French toast and bread pudding too.
