We have no idea what shirt that boy outside was wearing, could have been Ralph Lauren or Tommy or Nautica or who knows what thats 100% different than a Jordan shirt.

We see all blue shorts, again we have no idea what type of shorts they are, but they are 100% different than the clear athletic shorts from the boy inside.

Ive been turned away from so many places because of my outfits that you start picking up on those differences that makes it make sense.

Back in my drinking days, clubs and bars.

They allowed boots but not timbs, they allowed timbs but not blue ones, they allowed timbs but not the popular boot model. They allow baseball hats but not ski hats, they allow ski hats but not baseball hats. They allow all hats except my red hat, or my blue hat.

the list can keep going, but yah, plenty of times Ive been denied entry or been told to leave unless I change or take stuff off

One child had clear as day athletic shorts with an athletic shirt, while the other child was wearing what looked to be like a Ralph Lauren shirt and then non athletic shorts.

the sneakers were never the issue according to the 2nd waiter she talked to

The managers messed up badly. It started when they were fooled by the smokescreen and then they couldn't answer her when she asked "why". After that the dress code didnt matter

I thought we moved on from this already? Its old news. Mom hires a civil rights attorney, restaurant changed its dress code policy to no dress code to kids 12 and under and the manager was immediately suspended and will probably get shit canned.

I haven't watched the video or read up on the story at all, but it's quite common for dress codes to be enforced in restaurants and clubs with high end clientele. Rich people don't want people showing up in rags to cramp their style. Call it what you will, but it's just the facts.

I personally side with the business owners. If I walk into a store and they want me to wear a mask, well tough shit. I have to wear one or I'll have to take my business elsewhere. If I walk into your house and you want me to take my shoes off, I'm not gonna start bitching and looking to hire lawyers and sue you. It's YOUR house, I have no right to tell you what rules you get to enforce.
