Nope. The only "Tactics" game I'd like a new one of would probably be FFT.

Yeah I would like a new Ogre Battle game, lot of Tactics games already so it wouldn't be too different from most things but a new OB would be the bees knees.

Never played any of the Ogre games, but I'm all for more more games in the genre. Especially since it seems we won't be getting anything FFT related until after the PS5 launches, if at all.

what would you guys like in a new Ogre Battle game?
This whole month has been about figuring out the magic of Ogre Battle... but I really can't narrow it down to anything other than just being a unique flavor without being too esoteric (kinda like Tiger icecream) --- "Salt cures Everything!" interesting and deep unit tree with lots of hard to reach and fun to have unit types
more complex ways to compose your armies as you pointed out, maybe better overall strategic map play, with unit positions being much more critical maybe more leader customization, including strategic not just tactical properties (stats that effect the whole map). maybe apply this leader customization to the leaders you face, so that each one has their own strengths and weaknesses. I guess you wouldn't want to push it in the direction of 4x games, so maybe steer clear of city management unless it was done in a more unique way. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
