yeah I was driving 50 something in a 35 and caught the attention of a us marshal in an unmarked F150

he told me to slow down before I caught the attention of the local police and told me to "get outta here"

Not a speeding ticket but a moving violation on my bike. The silly bastard cuts off 4 lanes of traffic to pull me over on my bike and proceeds to write me a ticket. He even accuses me of having booze in my water bottle.

Anyway, a week goes by and I get a letter in the mail telling me to disregard the ticket as the schmuck filled out the ticket wrong and they won't be moving forward in court. They threw the ticket out.

in my state there has to me markings on the car for them to pull you over and ticket you

Yeah. Speed limit dropped suddenly as we reached town. I was going on a date with the wife so we were both dressed up. She flirted with the cop and got him to let us off with a warning.

Not me but my dad while I was in the car with him when I was a kid. My parents had a Corvette at the time, and my dad was fond of driving around a little too fast in it while I was in the passenger seat, and we got pulled over. My dad had been eating caesar salad with some seriously garlicy dressing, and his garlic breath was always the worst. So the cop leans right into the window to take a look around inside the car, and my dad takes in a deep breath of air and makes sure to give this cop a good blast of his breath as he says "Hhhhello officccer, hhhhow are you tonight?" The cop got one good whiff of his death-garlic breath, immediately stepped back from the window, and got back in his car without saying anything and drove off.

Got pulled over going too slow on this one road where deer cross all the damn time early in the morning. Was driving to work at 3am going about 15 in a 25mph. This was the stretch where you always see deer darting across so I go super slow that early so I can come to a stop real quick in an emergency. Usually no other cars on the road at this time, yet somehow a cop pulls up behind me. V_V

Asked why I was going so slow and if I had anything to drink, I said no of course on the drink and explained the deer situation. I think she noticed my work uniform and I told her where I was going so she let me off with a warning and told me not to go that slow anymore. Also I've never had a ticket for anything so that worked in my favor too.

Only time i've ever been pulled over in my life was for making an illegal left turn in New Jersey, it was my birthday, I was in the active Army at the time, and I was stationed at Ft. Dix in New Jersey so the cop was pretty much like, hey don't do that anymore. He asked for a valid license and laughed when he saw it was my birthday, he knew I was in the Army with the window sticker on my windshield required to get on post at that time.

it was Illinois. both local and state had unmarked cars that pulled over. this guy was federal though but still in state

Nope. My only speeding ticket I've ever gotten was given to me after I, a young black male, pulled out of the dealership lot in a shiny new red car. I couldn't believe it even happened and just laughed all the way home. It was so stereotypical it became absurd and then funny. My whole family laughed too.

Once. I was very late to clinicals for school. I was going like 90 in a 55. A Sherif going the opposite direction made an immediate u-turn and pulled me over. He asks me how fast I was going and why. I told him the truth. He told me he shouldnt give me a pass but he did. I think he just didnt radar me

I got pulled over going into Cuba, NM on Highway 550, a town that exists exclusively because of a gas station/McDonald's and speeding tickets.

The officer told me to contest the ticket. I was like whatever.

I get to the courthouse on my way back from college a few weeks later.

"You're Mr. DrizztLink? Pulled over by Officer Whatever for speeding?"

"Yes, your honor."

"Officer Whatever is no longer with the Cuba City Police Department and we are no longer pursuing any of her cases, you're free to go."

I've blown straight past speed traps on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76, at 90+ mph and never got pulled over once. >.>

I recall one of the times I got a warning he seemed really nice about it. The next day I was speeding down the same road when I suddenly remembered the warning and immediately hot the breaks and drove under the limit. As I went past I saw him there checking for speeders again in the exact same spot. Looks like he was checking to see if anyone actually listened to his warning which I thought was kinda cool.

Been pulled over twice in 22 years. The first time I was ever pulled over, I was going 10mph over on the Ohio Turnpike. There were 4 of us in the car, and since it was a road trip, the two in the back were sleeping. I pull over, and the cop come up, bangs on the back window and screams at the two who had been asleep to Get your hands where I can see them, now! Then he comes to my window and starts acting like a dick, asking so whats so important that youre driving like a manic?

All for 10 over. On the Ohio Turnpike.

Kind of, I was speeding in excess of 85km/h but the cop reduced it to 50km an hour over the speed limit so he didnt have to tow my car and take me to jail. I still had a court date, ended up with a 1500 fine.

Only been tailed to get back down to speed. I think it was mutually understood as "safe" speeding.

I didn't go on a rampant run, not in traffic or putting anyone in danger. I mean not justified, but within reason to not pull me over.

Generally speaking I think there should be some higher-echelon license to drive faster with approved road conditions. I'm not trying to sound full of shit, but it's theoretically very possible in today's society to do so safely however it's not for everyone.

Ive only been pulled over once, it was for speeding, and I was given a warning. I was on a road that was about to turn into the highway (401 in Ontario), I preemptively increased my speed to beyond 100 km/h but the limit hadnt quite changed yet and was still like 60. He was nice about it though.

You were doing 85 over and they didnt suspend your license on the spot? What country is that?

I've been stopped twice for speeding, didn't get out of a ticket on either, but both times they gave me a break by knocking a few mph off to get it under the 10 over threshold.

No. I was going 28 in a 25 AT LITERALLY FOUR IN THE MORNING, completely sober, nothing else besides going slightly above. Not even in a school zone. Complete bullshit.

Thankfully due to an error he made when writing the ticket and a prolonged argument I had with the lady at the desk, I ended up only having to pay like 1/3rd of what the ticket should have been.

I thought they gave 5 mph leeway. >.>

Voted no, but then remembered I did get let off once for going 48 in a 35. I think he let me go because I was working and only 19 years old at the time

Ive known people to get tickets for going 1mph over. Which seems like it would be within the margin of error for a radar gun.

One night it was so cold I couldn't get my headlights to come on so I said screw it and drove without them. Of course a cop would notice and followed me home. He asked why they weren't on and I showed him that they wouldn't come on. After sitting to there for 10 minutes he comes back and tells me to get them fixed and drives off.

Turns out all I had to do was turn on high beams. Once those came on my regular lights worked too.

Never been pulled over for speeding. I did get a ticket from some dumb photo enforcement though. What bug me if that no one ever go the absurdly low speed limit there. The cops themselves blow right through that street. Yeah I know "follow the rules!" and all but seriously I have gone down that street for 3 years and some random photo dude got me once.

I did get pulled over for a broken signal light though. He was nice enough to not ticket me or anything (but truthfully I think he just saw that I already pulled into my complex and let it go lol).

Only the first time. Every other time I've been pulled over they ticketed me or threw me in jail.

Never been pulled over for speeding. The first time I got pulled over was from the wrong turn signal being used according to the officer. I already made it to my parking lot by the time he flashed his lights.

The second time was from a missing side view mirror. I already had the replacement in the back seat so he let me go no problem.

Yeah, I was running late for work and I was going 70 in a 40. He pulled me over and got my info and everything, went back to his car and came back and asked me where I was headed and I told him work. He asked where I worked and told him and he said "Alright just slow it down next time" and let me go. I think why is because I worked at a grocery store at the time and they sit in that parking lot a lot

Nope, only ever got one speeding ticket, going 86 on the freeway in CA, learned my lesson, also I don't have big boobs.
