Close to the beaches and mountains, tons of hiking and a ton of lakes to choose from. Cost of living is very low for the most part. Spitting distance from the Adirondacks, downtown Saratoga is full of life, tons of farm land if you just want to be alone. It's got every kind of place to live in one small package. It does have it's fair share of Trump supporters, it isn't full blown red but it's not blue either, but none of the obnoxious Trump supporters.
