They were clearly intending to leave and she intentionally went behind their car. The threats of violence were assault, and if acted upon could have resulted in the death of an unborn child. Pointing the weapon put the couple in the wrong, but that video showed multiple crimes being committed before that point. They attempted to leave and were in the process of leaving when she gets behind their car. Conveniently the camera fails to capture the circumstances of how this occurs. At this point she threatens violence upon the pregnant woman. If the couple had any intention of running that woman over, she would have been run over already. Realistically, threatening to attack a pregnant woman is a threat of violence that one can reasonably fear may result in a death via fetal homicide. Pointing the weapon put the couple in the wrong, but that video showed multiple crimes being committed before that point. They attempted to leave and were in the process of leaving when she gets behind their car. Conveniently the camera fails to capture the circumstances of how this occurs. At this point she threatens violence upon the pregnant woman. If the couple had any intention of running that woman over, she would have been run over already. Realistically, threatening to attack a pregnant woman is a threat of violence that one can reasonably fear may result in a death via fetal homicide. I wouldnt be broadcasting this incident so far and wide if I were them, any crime the couple may have committed will not absolve the lady of assault charges when she leveled them first. </quote> ... However if the wife gets charged, i think the mother should be charged for intimidation, threats and assault. Also, don't think the husband deserved to lose his job. He was the most calm of anyone and just tried to reasonably get his wife out of the situation. Though I can understand the pressure on the institution to address it, even before the facts were all laid on the table.
