In Missouri, brandishing a firearm for the purpose of intimidation is a crime, can be a misdemeanor or a felony depending on the severity of the situation. They can maybe use self-defense as a justification (the only exception to the brandishing with intent to intimidate under Missouri law) but since they weren't at risk inside and chose to go outside, we'll have to see what the prosecutor chooses to do. Kim Gardner (the StL Prosecutor) may choose very well to make an example of them, or may choose to let it go. You can post all the pictures you like and irrelevant links you want, I live here.
