5-10 hours of story content stretched thin over 40 or so hours doing the same repetitive actions, climbing towers to unlock parts of the map, clearing out the same enemies from bases and lots of things to thoughtlessly collect.

Looks like it tbqh. Probably still gonna buy it tho

I'm leaning towards waiting to see what people think of the game once it's out and played. I wasn't very impressed by the gameplay showcase at all. The game looks nice and I liked the black and white filter but my praise would end there. Every other gameplay aspect looks like it was taken from other games which isn't necessarily a bad thing but if it's something I've played before, I can't really get too excited.

Like people have said, this looked like Assassin's Creed but with samurais. I would have loved that around the Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood days when the series was still fresh but in the current timeline? I'm cool. I may wait for a sale on this one. Once again, it depends highly on the reception of this game post release from regular people and not reviewers.

I thought the last two assassin's Creed's were good but yes there is way too much padding. Especially in Odyssey.
