in the last week i spent an average of $22 on food eating out every single day, so $154 for 1 week's worth of food

just went grocery shopping and got a weeks worth of food...and it was like $18

even if you throw in the bag of rice and seasoning i got months ago, that's about the same as a single day of eating out....

Thank god my state legally requires you to. If you try entering a store with no mask they tell you to gtfo

In my state, there are signs at the entrance saying that masks are recommended. Every time I go shopping, there are fewer and fewer people using one.

No, but I also skip many meals because I dont feel like cooking or dealing with dirty dishes.

Yeah, cheaper and better for you. Only people I know that eat out a ton and aren't fat are people who travel for a living and don't have much choice

At the beginning of the year I made a concerted effort to start grocery shopping and cooking at home, and yes it's way cheaper. My family of 3 runs me around $25-$30 a meal for fast food, but usually under $10 a meal cooking at home.

I do too.

I prefer to eat out, and do most days at least once. Whether it's take out or a drive through. I don't like dealing with dirty dishes. I also find it hard to cook the right amount of food for 1 without leaving a bunch go to waste. It's more expensive, but I like the convience. I also like driving, so going some place for food is relaxing to me and a fun way to drive around and see new things.

Tonight I grilled 2 lamb shoulder steaks that easily could have run you $20 apiece at an Applebee's or something, and I paid just under $10 for the pack. I even got those perfect diamond grill marks on em

i don't eat much fast food

i eat a lot of thai, italian etc

so an order of pasta, drink and dessert cost me $20 easily, especially since i often add on meat (chicken, seafood, etc)

then i split that order and eat it the whole day

That's how it was in Texas until the case number spike. Now everybody has masks where I live in stores.

they're doing it around here as well, become well known to be a kevin or a karen if decide to bypass the requirement one makes a fool of themselves on youtube etc. doesn't look good on public reputation.

living in a county that wasn't part of the 7 high infection county's but people come from washington state (county) or multnomah county so masks are pretty much required in stores.
