It keeps getting delayed The first time I saw the trailer for the first Saw I actually thought it was Fatal Frame at first due to the way the trailer starts. Yeah that was similar to that animated Batman movie set in the Nolan Batman universe that had a few stories by different directors. But there was supposed to be a big budget live action movie. However this movie was happening. It was filming. It started filming in Match 2020. Sadly thats the problem, when and if filming will continue. I wonder how many films that were filming when the virus hit will quietly die. Especially the ones very early in development. And the movie has a good director attached. However, despite a few close calls, it doesnt feel like any of them are closer to coming to the big screen. Thats not the case, says producer Avi Arad. The man best known for producing the Spider-Man movies also has a big hand in producing those last three franchises. In a new interview, he offered up significant updates on them all. He says Uncharted will probably come first and that Metal Gear Solid is probably three years away. Though hes had the Mass Effect rights since 2008, that one would likely come after the first two.
