Kind of feels like a classic RE game with a shiny PS2 coat of paint. I'm kind of stuck. After I save Steve and he runs off with the golden lugers I need that have no ammo, (seriously what is he even going to do with them??) I seem to need 2 Navy Crests and I have a Military Training card (that I can't use anywhere I've been) and a Duraluminum case, but I literally have exhausted everything up to this point as far as I know. Anyone know what I should do next?

To be exact, you need an Army Crest, a Navy Crest and an Air Force Crest.
If I remember correctly the case you have can be opened by 'checking' it, turn the top of it to you, then you can open it up.

No actually I didn't think I needed to mention this, but it needs a lockpick and I haven't found one yet. I feel like there's something I'm missing that I need to do next before I get the other Crests like opening some door or finding some not-so-obvious item somewhere. There are silver crest doors and one gold crest door in the Palace but I haven't found any keys anywhere.

If I remember correctly, the military training card can be used on a different floor of the training facility. Did you go back through the elevator?

I only have access to the Airport (via the submarine), Palace, and Prison areas.

So you haven't gone to the training facility at all?

Outside the palace gates, there's a path connecting the bridge on fire that leads to the prison. Check the right side of the path for the military training facility

One quick Q, have I missed the Bow Gun? Or am I to find it soon? I have 90 bolts already.

You will find it soon. Get it as soon as you see it -- there's an event that locks you out of it for a long time if you step too far past it. If that happens, I would reload.

I found the bow gun... AAAND I'm out of space and have to go all the way back or load my save... god dammit.

Cycle your saves. CVX is badly designed and you can get softlocked. Don't use the BOW gas rounds.

Yeah, it's annoying.

Regular bowgun bolts aren't great against zombies... but they're good against an enemy you'll be soon up against.

Oh thanks for the reminder. Turns out I had the fire extinguisher in the security box. Whoops. You know, people really hate Steve, but I kind of feel bad for him. Also I'm starting to realize I've already played this game before. I literally recall a lot of this stuff when I sit and think about it. The other day I was wondering if the projector video where some kid pulls the wings off a fly was Zero, now I know it was this game and that I've definitely played it in the past... but it was a LONG time ago. I don't think I beat it but I'm not sure...
