He could have minded his own business instead of trying to police everyone and make sure their dog is leashed. He had an obnoxious, bleating lisping voice too, take away the race part and lots of people would say he deserved to he told to fuck off.

1) He was trying to observe birds, which is hard when unleashed dogs like hers are running around the park. Why should he have to accommodate her when she's breaking the rules?
2) Who are the "lots of people" saying he should have been told to fuck off?
3) I don't think his voice is annoying, but for the sake of argument let's say he had a different tone/speech - would that make her punishment more OK in your eyes?

Because he should have. How is what he did any different from all the Karens who start citing rules and telling people to not be here or do something? Like the Asian chick sitting on the steps or the black family BBQing or the teens posting BLM signs, etc.

And you can condemn two things at a time you know. I know it's tough for you.

In the two examples you cite, the Asian girl and black family weren't interfering with other people - here the guy is trying to bird watch, which is hard when unleashed dogs are running around in the park/brush. Why should he accommodate her breaking the rule at the cost of her hobby?

A dog running loose/unleashed in a public area with no boundaries is a lot more pressing than someone doing exercises on the stairs or BBQing in a place that has grills provided.

So......yeah it's a bit different.
It's the same shit because not only are those just a few examples, it's someone citing rules, when authorities are supposed to deal with that. You call 311 in NYC for stuff like this and then the authorities deal with it.

As a black guy in NYC, I would never confront a white woman, especially nowadays. It's extremely dangerous.

Actually, unless there's something really egregious going on, I would never confront anybody here. That's how you get shot.

My friend and his girl almost got shot because of confronting someone. My friend's girl got pissed one night because her neighbor didn't hold open the door. She got mad and started bitching out the neighbor through her window. The neighbor called her BF and his friends, who pulled up with guns and a fight broke out.

why are you being so weird about this discussion and calling me emotional? I'm just pointing out that people ITT (not just you) seem to be downplaying what she did and emphasizing what he did. Are you able to discuss things without accusing the other person of being "emotional" for disagreeing with you?
You accused me of downplaying it and I said I wasn't and was wondering why you would even think that unless you were high or overly emotional.

I brought up the emotional thing because you've been on an extended meltdown since George Floyd and know you haven't been thinking clearly lol. How many times have you been warned since the end of May? Lmao.

It's true. You jump to too many conclusions.

You're free to think that. Tbh, I haven't cried as much as since the Floyd protests started and I started coming across all these videos. I still can't stop crying about Elijah McClain.

But that doesn't mean you can't be logical and call things out with consistency.

most of those were for trolling an overly sensitive cop,but i digress. i simply made a post ITT pointing out how people were downplaying her basically trying to SWAT this guy, and you responded to it, so i responded to you and you just called me emotional for some reason. as has been said, you seem to be taking this matter far more emotionally than anyone else ITT right now.

How am I being emotional because I'm simply going "dude, think logically and not with your emotions"?. Yes, the lady fucked up 10x worse than the guy.

As I said, the emotional thing towards you has been going by the past month of your posts. You just came into the WHO coronavirus topic and said it's been always known it's airborne. Without doing a lick of research or thinking.

Just assumed you do that in all topics.

That's a pitiful mentality to have. We are all human and we all should be able to live in a free society without the threat of somebody trying to murder you because you asked them to do something as benign as putting their dog on a leash

The man could have lost his life or gone to jail over that incident if he hadn't video taped her

I agree, but that's not the reality, right?

So do we just jump in and risk our lives? Or call 311?

Edit for your edit: I've seriously been thinking about getting a bodycam. NYC is scary with how unhinged people are.

That's a nice sentiment to have, but knowing the history of this country it just doesn't work out that way.

I don't live in fear of someone murdering me if I asked them a question, especially if they're in the wrong. If you are not Man or Woman enough to fully exercise your God given rights then in many ways you don't deserve to keep them.

It's not the 1920s anymore. Speaking to a White woman and telling them when they're in the wrong should not be a death sentence. Defending her is defending the USA ability to treat you unjustly and rule Black men at a harsher standard

I unfortunately do still live with this fear. Where are you from btw if you don't mind me asking? Don't have to answer of course.

I've just seen so much crazy shit over the years that I'm the type to just keep it moving. I don't know. I know it's not the best mentality to have, but it's the mentality that's kept me safe so far. I'm like Jackie Chan "I don't want no trouble". I just feel shit like that ends up fucking you over more than anything when you act/react.

If I see something really fucked up, I'll notify the authorities. I don't know, it's how everybody around me has been. By any means necessary, don't open up situations where you fuck yourself.

I understand it. My main thing is as far as governance we should live in a society that ensures fairness. I'm the type of person not to speak to people in public either, but for those that do they shouldn't be subject to potential death because others feel like they have no right to speak to them or call them out when they're wrong

"She tried to kill him" is a big stretch. If some asshole came over to me and started lecturing me about following the rules, I wouldn't call the police, but I'd definitely tell them to get lost.

Also, what kind of hobby is bird watching? Sounds like a hobby for incels.

So you take pride in breaking rules as you see fit? If somebody came over and told you to stop firing a gun at birds you'd tell them to get lost?

Its a hobby that led to the theory of natural selection and evolution, so feel free show what other hobby you want that man to pursue.

  • well know fact: cops love killing black people
  • knowing this, she was pissed off by a black guy and she was like haha I am going to tell the cops a BLACK MAN is threatening me
  • she faked distress in her voice, mentioned that the BLACK MAN was harassing her dog, then she choked the poor little guy until he cried so the cops could hear that too
she was totally trying to murder him
