Yes. Once on a '95 Jeep Cherokee and once again on a '06 Chrysler T&C.
Honestly the replacement is easy. It's the tension belt that is the hard part. --- "He busted in, blessed be the Lord Who believe any mess they read up on a message board" -MF DOOM ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, it's pretty easy. Just make sure you tighten the belt when you put it back on or it will shred.

Yeah as others said its an easy job.
I once had to wait for like two hours for a supposedly accomplished backyard mechanic to change one out on my girlfriends toyota while i just got more and more pissed cause i coulda literally done it in an eighth of that time. But oh no her sisters bf knew what he was doing. Which was mostly taking two fucking hours to do a simple, quickass job while we were broken down two hours from seattle and like another 4 hours from home. But i was the asshole for getting mad about her not trusting me to do it for some god forsaken reason. --- "Goddamn em all... i was told we'd cruise the seas for american gold" ~ stan rogers https://files.catbox.moe/gqwlkg.jpeg ~ by JimCarrysToe. It's harder than a battery, it took some tools and maybe 30min in my Ford truck
I also did it in the parts store parking lot --- Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, even to those who are perverse - The Holy Bible ... Copied to Clipboard!
