Say a Karen sees a man talking to some kid at a table at a mall. She has no idea their relationship. She calls a security guard to keep an eye on them while they go about their day. Is that sexist?




It's a disgusting, damaging stereotype that men get labeled as pedophiles for daring to exist in a realm of the world where children may happen to be present.

Not to mention the trust issues it can create for kids when they're raised to see every single man as a predator.

I get being cautious (obviously teach kids not to go to the man in the white van offering candy) but I feel like things have spiraled way out of control and you can't even look at a baby or a child, as a man, and smile without getting judgemental looks.

Tell me about it, I have to work with young teens and if I don't either speak to them in a complete monotone, or act like an asshole to them I get people looking at me funny

Fucking sucks. I even got "talked to" by one of the managers who thought I was being "too friendly" to one of them. I told them I'm not trying to do anything, and they're sick for thinking it, but if it makes them feel better I can start being an asshole to them instead and they'll quit in under a week.

Oh yeah that's another thing. If a man is too nice to any child that is not his, he's a pedo and he's grooming the kid. That encourages men to be assholes to kids because people are too paranoid about pedophilia.
