I want to say Angel is only in less than 40 episodes. He feels like he's around for a long time as he's on the entire run from season 1 through season 6. I'm thinking he shows up again halfway through the first season.

The answering machine intro is iconic. I love that stuff. Then the theme starts blasting. One of the best TV show themes that is so easily recognizable.

Thanks for posting that. It really is up there with anything. Only MASH compares for me. When i started watching it again the other day i was into it from the moment it started.

Thats crazy about angel. My granny passed away almost 8 years ago so its been that long since ive watched it. Ive seen a ton of eps but not in order. Now im thinking there might be a lot of eps i havent seen before.

Sidenote I remember the arc where he dated the blind lady (well worked her case but same deal relatively speaking) and those have to be my least favourite eps.

Do you know if Rocky gets replaced at some point or is he just remarkably different looking early on?

the voice is close but he looks way different than i remember.

i never wanna do anything if its planned much in advance. Even if its something i love doing and would do in a heartbeat spur of the moment the second something is a week or more away i spend the entire lead up dreading it and trying to think of how i can get out of it reasonably.

Im talking about doing a specific activity during a given time frame with specific people.

Granted thats just as weird but ive always struggled with my negativity.

examples of things I like-in two weeks you get a week off to do whatever you want.

Alternatively friends show up friday evening to seeing if i wanna go camping.

My grandma on my moms side died suddenly in her mid 90s while running a morning bath and had never not lived independently.

Thats the ultimate way to go imo.

Anything but a care home or longterm hospitalization.

OK I think I'm getting better now. I was able to make it to that mansion or whatever and found a save room. I'll pick it back up shortly but I need a break after basically trying to rewire my brain to get competent at these controls. I was actually able to dodge the cerberus in front of the mansion pretty well now so I'm getting better.

I'd imagine you'd have to live there a certain period of time but who knows what else.

Like once I was watching a video on YouTube during my lunch break and she told me we werent supposed to be doing that since its the states wifi. I double checked with multiple people and they said YT was fine. Plus, theyll block sites that they dont want us on. Like I tried to get a girl to go to a pen website called penisland.com but it was blocked (they do sell pens there lol). So I call BS on that; shes just being bitchy.

Today, after I had gotten some water at the fountain she was like You know you need to wear a mask in all the common areas. I seriously wanted to tell her to fuck off. Or maybe to try drinking through fabric.

Malicious compliance.
Carry a copy of the employee manual on your person at all times, and memorize as much of it as possible. Every time ms. busybody makes any "that's a no-no!" remark, present the manual and simply state "show me where that's mentioned."

I'd firmly state that she is not your superior and it's beginning to feel like harassment. If it continues you will take it to management. Just be straight forward and minimalist about it. If she keeps on, I would take it to the higher ups. It sounds like she's being petty for no reason.

On the one hand my understanding is its not too difficult if you have any kind of job skills or education. Its easier if you can make some form of refugee claim of course.

But yeah, I have no idea what caused her to be like this to me. We rarely interact, but when we do, 99% of the time its her being bitchy about something. She wont even say thanks when I buzz her in the front door. I mean technically were not even supposed to do that; employees are expected to carry their card keys at all times, but whoevers up front generally lets people in out of courtesy. I should just leave the door locked and let her get in the proper way lol

I think I just lost a friend today lol. All because I wouldn't let him stay at my house for an entire week when he asked out of the blue.

A little backstory, he's from New Orleans, but came to Baton Rouge to attend LSU which is where we met a long time ago. And he stayed here until just two years ago so he had lived in BR for a good while and we've been friends the entire time. We were even roommates for a couple years until he moved back home to New Orleans because he got a job there, but we still kept in touch and hung out every now and then.

Well about a month ago, he called me and told me he was in Baton Rouge staying at a friend's house and we should hang out. He said he would only be in town for a week, so during that week we hung out like 3 times and it was fun. For whatever reason, he continued to stay in town instead of going back home, and the couple of times I asked him why he never really answered me, always just gave some vague "Oh you know, shit happens and I keep getting set back" answer, which I don't know what that means. What I'm thinking is, the people he's staying with are a married couple and he's well overstayed his welcome as he was only supposed to be there a week and it's been a damn month and he's still there so they're probably talking to him about it.

Then this past Sunday, he texted me asking if he could stay at my place until this upcoming Sunday. I told him no because I like my alone time during the week and that if it was just for a night or so I probably wouldn't mind but not for an entire damn week. He then tried to guilt trip me. "Man we used to be roommates before, you can trust me, you let your girl stay there all the time", etc, etc. Dude wouldn't stop pestering me, and I eventually just told him the answer is no and that's final, and especially not through the weekend because my girl's birthday is Friday and already planned on spending the weekend together and I didn't want a 3rd wheel.

He then tried to guilt trip me further by saying I spend too much time with my girl (me and her literally only see each other on weekends and I have hung out with him multiple times since he's been in town), he can't believe I "did him dirty" after how long we've been friends, etc and basically told me he's done talking to me.

He's never acted that way to me before now but if he wants to burn our friendship bridge over some stupid shit like this then that's on him. I didn't ask him to come to Baton Rouge, I didn't make him stay here way longer than he was supposed to, and I'm sorry I have plans this weekend and have a girlfriend (which I think he's jealous of). So whatever man, I'm just going to move on and wait to see if an apology for this bullshit ever comes.

I have no friends who live in this tiny town but three who live close and two of them i cant hang out with much for different reasons. Ones about ten years younger and we have a great time every tome i see him but im too old to wake up hours from home with no way home. Lol. Other guy sells blow and i just dont wanna do it anymore (or at the very least till my income supports it without making an impact).

Basically i have one close friend who i can hang out with and drink with. The other two i just wont cause i know itll leas to bad decisions. Which is too bad cause theyre both good guys. Hell the one dude is one of the best people ive known so long as youre his friend.
