My dad's parents passed before I was even born. My mom's adoptive father died when I was 21. Her biological father is probably still alive. I haven't seen him in years.

My mother's father died in the late seventies. I was 22 when my paternal grandfather passed. 2014.

Paternal grandfather died about 10 years before I was born from cancer (yes, he smoked - started with the lungs and spread all over the body, according to my dad).
Maternal grandfather died when I was 18 and on my first semester at university - combination of strokes, lung cancer, and pneumonia. --- When ancient man screamed and beat on the ground with sticks, they called it WITCHCRAFT.
