I've been trolling my friend in Alabama with my Pizza options on my lunch breaks the last week or so.

~Having said that, his wife is Mexican, so his Mexican options blow 98% mine out of the water.

However, just a slice is nice for a lunch break.

I found several of those on sale for around $2.50 each before Covid and enjoyed all of them. Definitely liked them more than most of the frozen stuff.

I haven't had a good Mexican pizza in quite a while to be honest. They're really good, but when I order out, I usually just get something tried and true (feta and pepperonis is my go to) or something extra spicy.

they would make a profit if enough people buy slices during lunch break.
at the local place in town. they make about 70$ profit selling a 20$ pizza (they charge 9-10$ for 2 slices and a soda (they're big slices) used to go there until they jacked up the price.

had the screaming sicilian it's good but prefer the safeway brand when it's on sale (wanting to go this week but my wrist/ankle is busted) no activity can be done until foot heals (means no walks either for the dog) i really like doing that with her for enjoyment.

I didn't mean Mexican pizza, I meant genuine Mexican food.
((Though I do like crunchy tacos, which are not genuine.))

I would try a Mexican slice, but I probably wouldn't order it.

But ya, I work like five minutes on foot next to one of his former favorite Sub shops....so, I remind him...Because that's what friends do. ;-)

The other place, within walking distance of a lunch break, is selling them for $3, but it used to be $2.
But that might be a COVID thing, they had to close for a few months...So I get it.

But I seem to think that way about a lot of Mexican food.
Like, I don't know if I eat Tacos for sustenance or because they are fun.

I will roll with the 3 dollars one because I know what they went through.
They had a $2 across the board for any slice policy, but Covid fucked their shit up....so I'm okay with it.
~They relied heavily on the bar scene to pay the bill and when that got shut down it screwed their shit up.
I'm actually happy they survived. I'm happy for them.

There is literally no reason to pay for Dominos, Papa Johns, or Pizza Hut when frozen pizza exists and is just as good if not better
