I have an entire library of free games thanks to them, but I've never once purchased anything from their store. They they had the best sale this year with the $10 voucher on any game over $15. And they didn't even need to gamify their sale to exploit obsessive compulsive people into spending more money like good guys valve. as long as you have 2fa (which you should have for steam too), it does everything a launcher needs to do. Lightweight, keeps games updated, the end. In fact it's currently eating about 200mb less than steam is and ~120 less than gog galaxy --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. Valve did it first and built a platform that was far and away ahead of the competition in for years.
