MabusIncarnate 07/17/20 1:27:14 AM #5:	It was my first ever pokemon game. I rate it a 6/10. It's like the most basic of turn based RPG i've played. I don't know why it has such a cult following. Sun/Moon felt like an exercise in walking 20 feet, battling two or three dudes with one Pokemon each, and then having characters talk to you for 10 minutes. Sword/Shield definitely aren't great, though. I felt pretty restricted on cool Pokemon I actually wanted to use while keeping a balanced team. Plus, at higher levels that big area with the giant Pokemon battles got a big difficulty spike and it became really hard to catch em. For that matter, I hate the mega/z-move/giant bs they've been adding to every game. It ruins the single player (I don't play multiplayer). The gameplay is already basic enough, don't make it easier by giving me one hit kill strategies in what's supposed to be boss fights. --- *runs out of topic naked* <cite>codey posted [p:942218087] in Is it just... Preordered it, bought the collector's edition guide book, and preordered the DLC. I do like the idea of rotating mons in and out of competitive so that teams don't look too homogenous when comparing to different gens. That's all I've been doing for the last 200 hours of playtime other than event raids I already have an apriball team with hidden abilities, the ideal natures, and ideal IV/EV spread ready for the next DLC, and I'm using the team I bred for the first DLC to blow through raids and the Pokemon league when I'm bored.
