I decided to go for a run around a small lake. Partly to exercise and partly for the nice view. Ot hasn't rained in a bit so there shouldn't be that many bugs in the middle of the day.

But I had fucking insects flying around my head the whole fucking time. I didn't even enjoy the run at all because of that.

God I can't wait for winter

I agree. Especially in the summer, people exposing themselves to bugs and the harsh sun and I'm like...why? Do you hate yourself that much?

New things can be jarring at first. The benefits of logging off and going outside for exercise greatly outweighs the inconvenience of some bugs

Some dude in my neighborhood laughed at me when he overheard me bitching about summer being the worst season because of the heat/humidity and bugs

I need it to be November right now

If you feed your dog a lot of garlic, your dog will be less likely to eat it's own feces.

Spray a peppermint scent on your head. Bugs hate the smell of peppermint.

But what are the side effects of overdosing your dog on garlic?

Bug spray sucks. If you're gonna be outside, keep moving. That's what helps the most. I just put up with it. It has to be excessive to completely ruin my time.

So do raccoons and possums. If you want these critters to stay out of your garbage, spread fresh mint around the ground, or dump some mouthwash on the ground around your cans.
