I remember triggering the last few missions were a complete fucking mystery. Like, it doesnt matter what guide you followed, there was always some unknown element that kept it from working for some people. I know me and my friend did the exact same thing and I managed to unlock the ending and he didnt. >_>

Which missions are we talking about here? Because I did basically everything in that game except get one weapon that requires grinding out heroism for countless hours.

The main story? Keep doing missions until robot arm dude shows up. The last step of it has him hiding in the shooting range tutorial mission.

The Monster Hunter quests? There was one specific mission where you have to complete the objective, but then backtrack to the previous map instead of heading for the exit.
