I'm not entirely certain it'd have the effect we'd want since, to memory, a fair few school shooters, at least, got their guns from a family member or unsecured gun safe. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Nope. School shooters usually steal their parents weapons without their knowledge. So raising the age won't do much.
