Virtual_Console 07/20/20 2:14:39 AM #1:	I feel like most of Wind Waker's criticism when it was released back then was because there was no other game like it and people were not accepting of a kiddie Zelda. Flash forward to 2020, everybody would have loved it if Nintendo released Wind Waker because now the general public are more accepting of different kinds of games. I could see Zelda fans complaining that they had to wait sooo long for a new Zelda game only for them to reveal this preschooler Link adventure, what a fuckin' joke, etc. --- I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate. However they had a tech demo.. that showed a darker "realer" looking Zelda and people were psyched for that. Then they gave us that. But even alone I hate the look of it.. could still be old biases, because I LOVE awakening . Part of why the Switch was such a huge success was because it launched with the biggest Zelda game ever.
