Revenge is the best of the prequels but they all have some cool moments (and a ton of cheesy ones)

I like Darth Maul

The Phantom Menace isn't great, but it's the only one that's watchable. It pretty much wins by default, given that it's the sole prequel that doesn't have its head planted firmly up its own ass.

Out of the prequel trilogy, AotC by far. You have Jango, that coliseum fight, Count Dooku, and uhhh... meh. Probably some other stuff.

The thing is the other films have so much bogging them down. TPM may have Maul, the cool underwater scene, etc, but it also has that long-ass pod race, child Annakin, the goofy-acting of the Trade Federation executives, Jar-Jar, Gungan goofiness, drone comic relief, etc. RotJ has Order 66, that hilarious Grievous fight, but... it also has a lot of stuff I disliked.

Yeah but it also has some of the best fight scenes in the entire series. Most of the prequels are a balancing act of garbage dialogue/cringe moments versus epic fights/fan service. I prefer the epic moments in RotS over the epic moments in the other two.

Everything with child Annakin, Jar-Jar, the droid soldiers, etc, was cringey AF. Plus that pod race eats up a good chunk of the movie and was jam-packed with stupidity. They're doing all this shit and then they're like, "oh, let's stop for a pod race!" And the whole justification for that nonsense is Jedi mind tricks don't work on an alien and, for some reason, they didn't just contact the Jedi council to wire them some money.

The question more comes down to "which was the least cringe for you?" Or, "which one had enough cool stuff to counterbalance the cringe?"

Yeah, 3 is over rated (if thats possible). The dialogue is just shockingly, breathtaking awful, the final battle is utterly ridiculous but most importantly it has the Anakin to Vader transformation, which is so out of left field and on a dime it's a parody of itself. 1 is the best (still trash) because of the final battle

It's mostly a case of "Man, Episode 1 was shit, and Episode 2 was also shit in a different sort of way, but at least Darth Anakin murders some kids and falls into a volcano in this one, so GREETEST PREQUEL FILM EVAR."
