A few months ago he almost assaulted my wife because someone had put up a notice about people dumping rubbish and he took it as a personal attack from *everyone* and couldnt understand it was not directed at him specifically.

He has about 8 inches in height and 70 kilograms on me. I am but a tiny tiny man and a coward.

Unfortunately, we dont live in a decent neighbourhood. We were looking to buy elsewhere before COVID. At the moment were just keeping our fingers crossed jobs wise before we take out a larger mortgage.

Glad to hear your interview went well. I often have the problem of talking too quickly--my mind is going so fast I used to stutter as a child and still do occasionally. It doesn't help that I'm a teacher :/ Anyway, I hope you hear back from them soon. What were you applying for BTW?

Oh yeah, my brain runs far faster than my mouth more often than not.

Im applying for the job Ive been in as a temporary position for a few months now, which is basically a promotion from my permanent position which Ill still have, even if they find someone better for the job Im applying for.

Im cautiously optimistic - Ive been fulfilling all the responsibilities for this role for a few years now unofficially, for about $10K less. Im good at my job and my bosses are always happy with my work, so if they find someone else for the higher role itll be because theyre legit better suited for the role than I am. In which case, no hard feelings and itll be an opportunity to learn off someone.
