Please don't. That whole situation sounds incredibly illegal and this is one stock I wouldn't be too surprised to see it never come back.

I guess if you want to swing trade it though it might not be a bad idea. But I wouldn't hold for more than a day if you're green.

There's a guy on the AVCT discord who threw 250k at the common stock and the warrants (way more at the warrants) and current account value is 1.3 mil but won't sell either. Aaaand I congratulated him on Stocktwits last week for his inevitable future millionairehood lol.

His PT for the warrants is 10...which would mean he has over 30 million since he has 3 million shares of them, and PT for the commons is over 20.. Personally I think 10 is a bit ridiculous for the warrants but it's not that crazy in the most bullish case a year plus out.

As insane as those profits would be I kinda have more respect for the traders on that discord playing with 10k like I hae back in April. The research these guys do is incredible. Lots will be millionaires in a couple years with their methodology of trading.

Be careful next week with XELA guys. They're coming up pretty close on not meeting their NASDAQ listing deadline (September 28) and your worst case scenario is a reverse split. The good news is they've never done one of those before in the company's history and with so many hedge funds and tutes in on them, it's hard to imagine them fucking over big boys like that. But if your position size is big enough you might want to secure profits. That shit is risky now.

That said it's pretty sad that they're not already trading over a dollar with the huge news the last couple of weeks. But hey 1.6 billion debt will do that.

Which brings up a good point. I still have HPR shares, they've been under $1 since March. It looks like they have 6 months to correct that as they were notified by the NYSE on 3/10, so that would be 9/10? Can't find an official date but seems like they might be in the same situation. I feel like someone (Chris?) mentioned this a couple months back.

Not sure. Totally depends on ER but I think it could for sure have another crazy run next week. And either way, this is a company you want to be in on in a long position. If you're still doubting after seeing what it can do I don't know what to say.

Now that I'm much more educated on all the variables, the warrants really were the real play here all long. If we get news that the warrants are registered next week, well...I can't even fathom how much money I'll make. Not real until you sell but at that point every bull thesis on our little discord has come true. Collectively that discord owns 30% of the warrants and we have some level of say what happens anyway.

It's starting to look less like a hail mary every day but we need to see what happens next week, especially regarding any warrant news.

Also ER will finally include Computex financials so don't be fooled by the shell's financials that came before. With good guidance this thing could have a run even stronger than the last one. Without the run, well, you're still in on a growing company you're gonna want in on.

Sold TRVN for +$700 about half an hour ago. Continues to go down so guess it was a good idea. May buy back in if it keeps going down cause I do think this stock has good long term potential to get back to the $10-$15 range it was years ago.

If I sold close to open when I was originally going to it would be +$800 but eh.

Another alternative would be to invest in running shoes. I suspect many people will foregone machine travel altogether.

I got back in TRVN with a reduced stake. Basically just have my profits in it now. Guess we'll see how that goes.

Airlines!

Well Im currently in nothing. Havent been for about two or three weeks. Im 100% not going into airlines, especially on a Green Day.

In a year, you will wish you invested today! You have to think long term.

If you're feeling FOMO about today then just keep it in your wallet and wait for a day when we're all like "whelp red days happen"

If you want an airline but don't want to worry, then just get LUV. Great shape, good business model to recover quickly. They don't have as much room to grow as some other airlines but they should be able to get to their previous price point.

Visa is a good deal but you can probably get a better deal in the next month. But that's a bit of a no-brainer stock.

Invest in ATHX. They have an earnings call today and have just tanked like $0.10 for no reason (probably people expecting a disappointing earnings call but oh they will be shocked)-- good time to get in!

TCDA is -$509 but I still believe it will get me many dollars by the time I get out.

ATHX feels very safe though. Lots of cash reserves, partnerships, lots of stuff in the pipeline. It's also very sparing with news which plays to your benefit if you're patient with it cause you're not going to have a muddy starting point due to meaningless PR spam causing the stock to spike. There is no priced in hype you're just believing in the science.

Amusingly because of that I'm going to start floating half my stake in it and swinging $0.10+ on it every time it bounces around since it's very calmly in the $2.50 - $3 range. Seems like easy money I've been ignoring.

If you're investing in airlines, you're doing it for 1-2 years out. I don't want to tell you to invest in LUV only for it to drop 8% in a month and you sell at a loss and it's at like 45 in 16 months.

I think DAL is still a good deal at $29. They have like $15 billion or something in cash reserves to ride things out in case the government bailout falls through, so I don't think a bankruptcy is likely. Plenty of opportunity for growth back up to the pre-covid high above $60.

As an added benefit, if you hold to next year, you don't need to show a gain on it this year and you can use the AAL loss on your taxes.

Seriously buy all the airlines if you want to go safe

The ones that don't go bankrupt will roughly double and you're still green unless over half of them bankrupt.

Go hard on DAL and if something wacky happens you get screwed.

I haven't bought any biotech stocks because I have no clue whether each of them is going to succeed with their drugs or not. With the information I have, it would just be gambling.

Lopen is right that buying some of all the airlines should be fairly safe and still profitable.

re: NKLA, I read the 1,000 as the limit to the trucks when it's the limit to the HP. They are starting with 2500 trucks. lol guess I'll be getting back on that train above 40 then.
