Sanders had all the opportunities to win the primary, he just couldn't.

Even if the so called "establishment" did not want Sanders, Sanders could have easily broken through. There are plenty of candidates that broke through that barrier before, Trump being a recent example and Obama.

I said it before, Jim was the biggest, sole decider. He only stepped in because he saw Bernie would have won. Once the doubt was sewn in, Joe's momentum suddenly sprung and he won left and right, and the media suddenly acted like he was the chosen one, despite Bernie winning constantly beforehand.

When you have most people unsure of who to vote for, and suddenly one man says "Joe Biden" and everyone suddenly knows what to do, it not only shows how dangerous it is that people need to be told who to vote for, it shows we need reform.

But the anti Bernie crowd swarms in and cries left and right about his supporters, and ignores the extreme collaborative effort to take a chance with Trump winning so Bernie loses, because profits over people is the moto of politics. Bernie didnt win constantly. He didnt win Iowa and came neck and neck with Pete in New Hampshire. A state he should be blown everyone away considering he is the senator next door. The only state Bernie did great was Nevada. The revisionist history here....

and lets not forget the STUPIDEST conspiracy theories that Pete would want to delay the results of the Iowa primary...a primary he won which ruined his momentum....I swear....this is why I dont like talking politics in this board. Pete was still on the Ballot and Kamala dropped out in November. Thanks for playing. Maybe Bernie should have done a better job building bridges then just antagonizing and making his game plan to coast through a crowded primary without expanding his base.

Justified? What do you mean justified? This isnt some game. These politicians want to run the country in a specific way and think that is what is best. Pete and Amy (two candidates not 90% of the field) dropped out over the weekend because they felt they had no path and they align more with Biden so they went with him.

Bernies team expected a crowded field longer and gambled and lost. Thats basically it. People were still able to vote and Bernie could have convinced people to still vote for him but he failed to do so. Thats it. Period. I point things wrong you ignore and jump to random tangents so this isnt worth it.

And I dont care what you believe. I voted for Sanders I just dont treat politicians like they are my best friend or a high schooler treating them as infallible heroes.

lets be really real

by that time the EU will be the new western superpower and the US will go the way of the roman empire

First of all the Democratic Party (and the Republican Party as well, but it's more complicated for them givent the last 25 years or so) is naturally going to be very progressive relative to today's Democratic Party.

But the party base in 20 years is not going to be Bernie supporters (or more accurately, Bernie bros). Bernie bros obviously aren't even that large in number to begin with.

The shocking thing is that he admitted it out loud, not that it happened in the first place. Generally, people in the establishment of the Democratic party have denied that they actively worked against Sanders.
